1. About this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how WeNova KB (”WeNova”) processes personal data when you use Planero.
Planero 1.0 is a local planning tool and does not require a user account.
Activities, tasks, notes, reminders and app settings are stored locally on your device. Planero 1.0 does not upload this content to WeNova or to any cloud service.
WeNova therefore does not have access to the content you create in Planero.
2. What Personal Data Do We Process?
2.1 Locally Stored Content
Planero may store information locally on your device, including:
- activities,
- tasks,
- notes,
- reminders,
- dates and times,
- categories and other planning preferences,
- app settings,
- other information necessary for the app to function.
This information does not leave your device through Planero 1.0 and is not processed by WeNova.
You decide what information you enter into the app.
2.2 Exported Data
Planero provides an export feature that you can use to create a manual backup.
An export is created only when you choose to use this feature.
An exported file may contain information that you have stored in Planero. WeNova does not have access to the exported file unless you choose to send or share it with WeNova.
Once an exported file leaves Planero, you are responsible for how and where the file is stored or shared.
2.3 Contacting Support
If you contact WeNova by email, we may process:
- your email address,
- the information contained in your message,
- any files or other information that you choose to send.
Please do not send more personal or sensitive information than is necessary for us to assist you.
3. How Do We Use the Data?
Planero 1.0 does not send your planning content to WeNova. We therefore do not use your activities, tasks, notes or reminders for our own purposes.
Information that you choose to send to support may be used to:
- respond to your question,
- troubleshoot problems you report,
- handle privacy and data protection requests,
- improve Planero based on general feedback,
- comply with legal obligations.
4. App-Specific Features
4.1 Local Storage
Planero 1.0 is designed to store data locally.
Your planning content is stored on the device on which you use the app and is not synchronized with a Planero or WeNova account.
This means that WeNova cannot restore locally stored content if it is lost.
4.2 Reminders
Planero may use features provided by your device to display reminders that you create.
The content of your activities, tasks, notes and reminders is not uploaded to WeNova for this feature to function.
4.3 Export and Backup
You can use Planero’s export feature to create a manual backup of information supported by the export feature.
We recommend making regular exports if the information stored in Planero is important to you.
Planero 1.0 does not provide cloud synchronization or online backup.
5. Legal Basis Under the GDPR
Because Planero’s planning content remains stored locally on your device, WeNova does not process this data as a data controller.
The main circumstances in which WeNova may process personal data are therefore:
5.1 Support Requests
When you contact support, WeNova may process your email address and the contents of your message.
- Purpose: to respond to questions and provide support.
- Legal basis: WeNova’s legitimate interests in providing support and handling enquiries. Where processing is necessary to provide the support you have requested, it may also be based on the performance of a contract.
- Recipients: WeNova and necessary communication service providers.
- Retention period: the data is deleted when the matter has been resolved and the information is no longer required for follow-up or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
5.2 Privacy and Data Protection Requests
If you contact WeNova to exercise your rights under data protection law, we may process the information necessary to handle your request.
- Purpose: to handle rights under applicable data protection law.
- Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.
- Recipients: WeNova and necessary communication service providers.
- Retention period: the data is retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and document compliance with applicable legal obligations.
If additional processing is introduced in a future version of Planero, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when such processing begins.
6. Service Providers and Sharing
Planero 1.0 does not use a WeNova cloud service to store your activities, tasks, notes or reminders.
We do not sell personal data.
If you contact support, necessary communication service providers may process the information you send in order to deliver and handle your message.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law or by a binding decision issued by a competent authority.
7. Transfers Outside the EU/EEA
Planero 1.0 does not transfer your locally stored planning content to WeNova or to any cloud service.
If you contact us, the communication service used to deliver your message may, in some cases, involve the processing of personal data outside the EU/EEA.
Where a transfer subject to the GDPR takes place, it must be based on a valid transfer mechanism and be subject to appropriate safeguards.

8. How Long Do We Keep the Data?
8.1 Local Content
WeNova does not determine a retention period for activities, tasks, notes, reminders or app settings because this information is stored locally on your device.
Local information will normally remain on your device until it is:
- deleted in Planero,
- removed by clearing the app’s data,
- removed when the app is uninstalled,
- removed when the device is reset or the information is otherwise deleted.
8.2 Exported Files
Exported files are stored in the location you choose. Planero and WeNova do not control how long an exported file remains available once it has been saved outside the app.
8.3 Support
Support communications are deleted when the matter has been resolved and the information is no longer required for follow-up, legal obligations or legal claims.
9. Deletion of Data
Because Planero 1.0 does not use a Planero account, there is no server-based account held by WeNova that needs to be deleted.
You can delete locally stored content using the features available in the app.
Local app data may also be removed by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling Planero, depending on your device and operating system.
Exported backups must be deleted separately from the location where you have chosen to store them.

10. Children’s Privacy
Planero 1.0 does not require an account and does not upload a user’s activities, tasks, notes or reminders to WeNova.
Users should nevertheless avoid sending unnecessary personal data or sensitive information to WeNova when contacting support.
11. Profiling, Advertising and Automated Decision-Making
WeNova does not use the content of your activities, tasks, notes or reminders for profiling or automated decision-making because Planero 1.0 does not send this content to WeNova.
Personal data that you choose to send to support is not used for automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
12. Your Rights
If WeNova processes personal data about you, for example in connection with a support request, you may, depending on the circumstances and in accordance with the GDPR, have the right to:
- receive information about how your personal data is processed,
- access your personal data,
- request correction of inaccurate personal data,
- request deletion of your personal data,
- request restriction of certain processing,
- object to processing based on legitimate interests,
- receive certain personal data where the right to data portability applies.
These rights are not absolute and may be limited in certain circumstances under applicable law.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) if you believe that WeNova’s processing of your personal data violates applicable data protection law.
13. Security
Planero’s local-storage design means that WeNova does not have access to the planning content stored on your device.
The security of locally stored content therefore also depends on the security of your device.
We recommend that you:
- use the security features available on your device,
- protect access to your device,
- create manual exports of information that is important to you,
- store and handle exported files securely.
No storage method can be guaranteed to be completely free from the risk of data loss.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if Planero changes, new features are introduced or legal requirements change.
The date at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when it was last updated.
If Planero introduces features such as user accounts, cloud synchronization or other processing that gives WeNova access to additional personal data in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe that processing.
If a change is material, we will inform users in an appropriate manner where required by law.
15. Language Versions
This Privacy Policy may be made available in multiple languages.
In the event of any differences or inconsistencies between the Swedish version and a translation, the Swedish version shall prevail.
