TERMS OF USE FOR PLANERO

These Terms of Use apply when you download, install or use Planero.

By using Planero, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you should not use the app.

1. About Planero

Planero is a digital planning tool developed and provided by WeNova KB (“WeNova”).

Planero 1.0 can be used for, among other things:

  • activities,
  • tasks,
  • notes,
  • reminders,
  • planning and organisation.

Planero 1.0 operates locally on your device and does not provide user accounts, cloud synchronisation or online backup.

In these Terms:

  • “Planero” or the “App” means Planero and its features,
  • “we”, “us” or “our” means WeNova,
  • “you” or the “User” means the person using the App.

Information about how personal data is processed is available in our Privacy Policy.

2. Use of Planero

You are responsible for how you use Planero and for the information you enter into the App.

Planero is a tool intended to assist with planning and organisation. You are responsible for checking important information, times, activities and reminders.

You are also responsible for the security of the device on which Planero is used.

3. Content You Create

You retain any rights you have to activities, tasks, notes and other content that you create in Planero.

Planero 1.0 stores this content locally on your device, and WeNova does not gain access to the content through the App.

You may not use Planero for content or activities that violate applicable law.

4. Local Storage and Reminders

Planero 1.0 stores activities, tasks, notes, reminders and app settings locally on your device.

Planero does not provide cloud synchronisation or online backup in this version.

Locally stored content may be lost, for example, if:

  • Planero is uninstalled,
  • the App’s data is cleared,
  • the device is reset,
  • the device is damaged or lost,
  • local data is damaged as a result of a technical error.

Planero may use features provided by your device to display reminders.

We cannot guarantee that a reminder will always be displayed at the exact intended time, for example if the operating system, device settings, battery-saving features or other circumstances prevent the notification from being delivered.

5. Export and Backup

Planero includes an export feature that can be used to create a manual backup of information supported by the feature.

You are responsible for creating exports when you wish to back up your content and for storing exported files securely.

An export is a snapshot of the information included at the time the export was created. Changes made later are not automatically included in an earlier export.

WeNova does not have access to your exported files unless you choose to send them to us.

6. Technical Errors and Data Loss

We work to ensure that Planero operates reliably and that locally stored information is handled correctly.

However, software and devices may experience technical errors.

You should therefore not rely on Planero as the only copy of information that is particularly important or irreplaceable.

Use the export feature when you need a separate backup.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability or rights that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Planero and materials provided by WeNova are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

This includes, among other things:

  • software code,
  • design,
  • graphics,
  • logos,
  • trademarks,
  • text and other materials included in the App.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use Planero for private or other normal use in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, distribute, sell, license or commercially exploit Planero or its software and materials without our permission, except where expressly permitted by law.

8. Availability and Changes to the App

We work to keep Planero stable and available, but we cannot guarantee that the App will always be completely free from errors or interruptions.

We may update or modify Planero where there is a valid reason to do so, for example to:

  • correct technical errors,
  • improve security or performance,
  • improve existing features,
  • add new features,
  • adapt the App to new versions of operating systems or devices,
  • comply with laws, regulatory requirements or platform rules.

Changes will be made with due regard to the rights users have under applicable mandatory law.

If a change to a paid digital service would negatively affect its use to more than a minor extent, the information requirements and consumer rights provided under applicable law will apply.

9. External Platform Services

Planero is distributed through third-party app stores and is used together with features provided by the user’s operating system.

Certain features, such as notifications, exporting and file handling, may therefore depend on functionality provided by the device’s operating system or platform.

WeNova cannot control the availability or operation of external platform services.

10. Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • attempt to manipulate or damage Planero,
  • attempt to circumvent security features,
  • use the App for unlawful purposes,
  • infringe WeNova’s or any third party’s rights,
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to software or systems that are not intended to be accessible to you.

11. Ending Your Use of Planero

Planero 1.0 does not require a user account.

You can therefore stop using Planero by ceasing to use or uninstalling the App.

Because content is stored locally, uninstalling the App may result in locally stored information being lost.

If you wish to keep your information, we recommend using the export feature before uninstalling the App.

12. Liability

Planero is provided with the aim of offering a stable and useful planning tool.

WeNova is not responsible for losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as:

  • errors or damage affecting the user’s device,
  • loss of the device,
  • the user deleting the App or its data,
  • errors in the operating system or external platform services.

We recommend backing up important information using Planero’s export feature.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability or consumer rights that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use as Planero develops or where changes are required due to, for example:

  • new features,
  • technical changes,
  • platform requirements,
  • changes in legal requirements.

The date at the top indicates when these Terms were last updated.

A new version applies from the effective date stated in the new version.

If a change is material, we will inform users in an appropriate manner before it takes effect where required by law.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Swedish law.

If you have a complaint, we encourage you to contact us first so that we have an opportunity to try to resolve the issue.

If we are unable to reach an agreement, a consumer may be entitled to have the dispute reviewed by the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN) or by a competent court.

Mandatory consumer protection rights apply regardless of anything stated in these Terms.

If you are a consumer residing in another country, the choice of Swedish law does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in the country where you reside.

15. Language Versions

These Terms of Use may be made available in multiple languages.

In the event of any differences or inconsistencies between the Swedish version and a translation, the Swedish version shall prevail.
